On March 9, Finland-based steelmaker Ruukki announced that it will deliver steel structures worth more than €3 million for a new six-storey 26,400 square meter property for Tapiola Mutual Pension Insurance Company in Jätkäsaari, Helsinki.

Ruukki's delivery for the one-year-project consists of the design, manufacture and installation, with fire protection, of the steel frame. The building will be owned by Tapiola Mutual Pension Insurance Company and the main tenant will be electronics retailer Verkkokauppa.com.

The steel pillars and other structures will be produced at Ruukki's works in Peräseinäjoki, Finland and the frame beams will be delivered from Ruukki's works in Ylivieska, Finland and in Balabanovo, Russia. Installation will continue until June.

The garage in the basement and the retail premises on the lower storeys will be completed in November 2011, the storage floors in December 2011 and the office premises on the top floor in January 2012.
