Finland-based steelmaker Ruukki has introduced Raex wear-resistant sheet and plate in Turkey, with the products in question used in manufacturing machinery such as tipper bodies, trailers, concrete mixing equipment and excavator buckets.

The given products, when produced using Raex wear-resistant steel, have an extended lifespan. Since the production process for Raex steel includes direct quenching, it has a smoother surface and it also prevents oxidization of the surface.

According to Ruukki's statement, Raex sheet with a thickness of 2 mm, which has also been introduced in Turkey by Ruukki for the first time, reduces the weight of the machinery and contributes to fuel saving.
