Russia’s pig iron output 4.1 percent in January-May

Russia's pig iron production in the January-May period of the current year increased by 4.1 percent year on year to 21.7 million mt, as stated by the Russian Federation's Federal State Statistics Service.

In May alone, Russia's pig iron output increased by 9.1 percent year on year and by 6.9 percent compared to the previous month.
