Russia’s ferromanganese exports almost halve in April

In April this year, Russia’s ferromanganese (FeMn) exports were seriously hampered by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

Accordingly, in April Russia’s FeMn shipments slumped by 21 percent month on month and 46 percent year on year to 4,400 mt. In particular, in April Russia exported 1,700 mt to the US, down by 43 percent month on month. Its shipments to Turkey, on the contrary, rose by 37 percent month on month to 2,000 mt.

In the January-April period this year, Russia’s ferrotitanium (FeMn) exports declined by 10 percent year on year to 20,700 mt, SteelOrbis has learned.
