Russian Kuzbass to increase coal output

Kuzbass, Russia's biggest coal-mining area is expected to increase its coal output by 7.6% in 2005 and it is also expected to increase its exports by 50% by 2010. Kuzbass produced 157 million tons of coal this year and the figure is expected to reach 170 million tons in 2005. Moreover, coal exports of Kuzbass are expected to reach 90 million tons by 2010. Exports of this year are expected to be 60 million tons.
