Russian flat steel exports down 4.8 percent in January-September

In September of the current year, Russia exported 625,000 mt of flat steel, up 8.8 percent compared to September  2011 but decreasing by 9.2 percent compared to August this year, according to the country's customs statistics.

In the January-September period of the current year, Russian exports of flat steel decreased by 4.8 percent year on year to 5.55 million mt.
