Russia ups trade surplus 20%
Russia's Economic Development and Trade Ministry disclosed that the country's foreign trade surplus rose to $16.5 billion during the first two months of 2005. Russia posted a trade surplus of $15.3 billion with non-CIS countries, while the trade surplus with CIS countries was $1.2 billion in the first two months. Trade turnover rose 28.9% year on year to an estimated $45.5 billion during the January-February 2005 period.Russia ups trade surplus 20%
