RMB 753.9 billion to be spent on first batch of projects in Zhejiang in 2019

A ceremony to mark the commencement of the first batch of major projects in 2019 in China’s Zhejiang Province was held on February 28, with construction work thus beginning on 600 key projects in Zhejiang, with the total investments in question worth RMB 753.9 billion ($111.4 billion), as reported by local media. 

In particular, 50 projects of the project involve the construction of high-speed railways and roads, which will increase the length of high-speed railways in the province by 170 km and add a further 315 km of roads. 134 of the projects are in the fields of culture, education, health, and government-subsidized housing projects.
