Rebuilding of all antiquated apartments in Hebei to be completed in 2020

58,488 antiquated apartments are planned to be rebuilt in China’s Hebei Province in 2020, as announced by China’s Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development (MOHURD). Meanwhile, construction of a total of 79,377 antiquated apartments will be completed this year, which will eliminate all antiquated apartments in Hebei Province.

As of February 29, construction work had commenced on 10,088 antiquated apartments, with an overall investment of RMB 1.37 billion ($0.2 billion).
