Rebar export shipments of NLMK’s long steel division down 98% in Jan-Apr

According to a company statement, in the January-April period of this year the long steel division of Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) shipped around 446,100 mt of rebar, almost unchanged compared to the same period last year, including 445,500 mt to the domestic market, up eight percent, while its shipments for export were down 98 percent to 600 mt, both year on year.

In May this year, NLMK again plans to ship around 115,000-116,000 mt of rebar, unchanged compared to April.
