Rebar costs up in Buenos Aires in February

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in February rose 8.5 percent, month-on-month, according to data released by the country’s statistics agency Indec.

According Indec, rebar was among the products whose cost in February grew the most in the general expenses category.

Indec said civil construction costs in Buenos Aires in February increased 1.8 percent, month-on-month.

Cost of materials, workforce and general expenses in the same comparative period grew 2.8, 0.7 and 3.7 percent, respectively, month-on-month.
