Real estate sales in Turkey down 38.2 percent in May from April

In May this year, real estate sales in Turkey amounted to 59,166 units, falling by 38.2 percent month on month and up by 16.2 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

Meanwhile, in the first five months of this year, real estate sales in Turkey totaled 418,079 units, decreasing by 3.8 percent on year-on-year basis.
