Qinhuangdao-Shenyang gas pipeline completed and put into operation

Construction of the last phase of the 420 km Qinhuangdao-Shenyang gas pipeline project has been completed, inspections have been carried out and the pipeline has been put into operation. 
 
The pipeline, with a maximum gas transportation capacity of eight billion cubic meters per year, links the northeastern China and northern China gas networks of PetroChina.
 
Shenyang is the capital of the northeastern Chinese province of Liaoning and Qinhuangdao is the chief port in China's Hebei Province.
 
PetroChina is the listed arm of Beijing-based state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
