Qinggang Iron and Steel to transfer one 40 mt converter

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has announced that Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region-based Qinggang Iron and Steel Co. will transfer one 40 mt converter, with steelmaking capacity of 500,000 mt to Guangdong Province-based Shenglan Metallurgical Technology Co. as it plans to build a quality steel project with an annual capacity of 8 million mt. Accordingly, the remaining 7.5 million mt of capacity will be raised by Shenglan Metallurgical Technology itself.
