Preliminary results of AD review on SS bar imported from France
On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from France. Upon the request of Carpenter Technology Corporation, Crucible Specialty Metals Division, Crucible Materials Corporation and Electroalloy Corporation, the DOC, on April 28, 2004, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from French producer UGITECH S.A, formerly known as Ugine-Savoie. The review covered the period March 1, 2003, through February 29, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that during the period of review, UGITECH made sales below normal value (NV). Interested parties are requested to comment on the preliminary results.
