Preliminary results of AD review on HR products from Romania
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published preliminary results of changed circumstances review of antidumping duty on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Romania. On November 29, 2001, DOC imposed antidumping duty order on certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products imported from Romania. S.C Ispat Sidex S.A was among the companies subject to the duty order. On March 24, 2005, Mittal Steel Galati, S.A (Mittal Steel) requested that the DOC to initiate a changed circumstances review to determine that it had become the successor-in-interest to Sidex. Upon the request, the DOC initiated a changed circumstances review of the antidumping duty order on imports of subject merchandise to determine whether Mittal is the successor-in-interest to Sidex, and as a result to find that antidumping duty order applied to certain hot rolled carbon steel flat products manufactured and exported by Sidex should be applied to the same products manufactured and exported by Mittal. The DOC preliminarily determined that Mittal Steel Galati S.A is the successor-in-interest to Sidex. Accordingly, the DOC will accord the new company the same antidumping treatment as its predecessor.Preliminary results of AD review on HR products from Romania
