POSCO & Vinashin to carry out mill feasibility study

South Korean steel giant POSCO announced on Wednesday that it will carry out a feasibility study with Vietnam's state-owned shipbuilder Vinashin regarding the joint construction of an integrated steel mill in the Southeast Asian country.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed in Seoul, the two companies will analyze factors such as building location, technology, raw materials and market that would affect the setting up of such a steel plant in Vietnam.
