POSCO to supply sheet to Hyundai’s US plant
According to recent news in the market, South Korean steel producer POSCO will supply steel sheet to Hyundai Motor's Alabama plant in the US, beginning from 2005. The plant in the US is expected to start mass production in March 2005, accordingly. POSCO supplies 600'000 tons of steel sheet to Hyundai Motors each year to be used in automobile production. South Korean plant, producing 2.5 million tons of automotive sheets annually, also supplies hot rolled coils to Thainox, formerly a subsidiary of Arcelor.POSCO to supply sheet to Hyundai's US plant
