Peruvian rebar sales increase in April

Peruvian rebar sales in April rose 10 percent, year-on-year, to 120,310 mt, according to data released by the local statistics agency, Inei. Rebar sales in April grew 9.5 percent, month-on-month, from 109,774 mt in March 2019.

As for the accumulated period of January to April, Peruvian rebar sales totaled 448,478 mt, 3.2 percent up, year-on-year.

Peruvian rebar sales have been on a month-on-month growing trend since February this year, when the shipments of the product reached 105,860 mt.
