Peruvian iron ore output down 0.34 percent in January-July

Iron ore production at Peru’s only producer, Shougang Hierro Peru, was up by 1.01 percent year on year in July this year, according to data issued by the country’s mines and energy ministry.
 
Shougang produced 652,772 mt of the commodity in July, down from 646,275 mt in the same month of 2015.
 
In the first seven months of this year, Peruvian iron ore output totaled 4.83 million mt, decreasing by 0.34 percent year on year.
