Peruvian steelmaker Aceros Arequipa saw its net profit decline 4.2 percent in Q3, year-on-year, to PEN 22.1 million ($6.54 million), it said in a filing at the nation’s securities exchange commission, SMV.
Aceros Arequipa’s net revenues in Q3 declined 14.6 percent, year-on-year, to PEN 527.8 million due to lower selling prices and volumes.
The company’s gross profit in Q3 was PEN 65.9 million, down from PEN 100.8 million in the same quarter of the year prior.
Aceros Arequipa reported a PEN 47 million EBITDA, 36 percent down, year-on-year. EBITDA margin in Q3 was 9 percent, down from a 12 percent EBITDA margin reported in Q3 2015.
