Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium announces Q2 prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai Panzhihua New Steel & Vanadium Company Limited announced its Q2 ex-factory prices on March 1, 2007. The details are as follows: 1. The price of HR increased RMB 293/mt ($38) compared with Q1 2007. After adjustment, the new price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,130/mt ($534), while that of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 3,896/mt ($503). 2. The price of CR increased RMB 351/mt ($45). After adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm thick ST12 CRC is RMB 5,031/mt ($650). 3. The HDG price has remained unchanged, with the price of 1.0 mm thick JY [140-180g/m2] HDG still at RMB 5,756/mt ($744). 4. The price of pickled & oiled steel coil increased RMB 351/mt ($45). The new price of 3.0 mm thick SPHC pickled & oiled steel coil is RMB 4,774/mt ($617). All the above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of March 1, 2007.
