Sichuan-based Chinese steel producer Pangang Group has won a tender to supply 18,700 mt of high-end X80 pipeline steel for spiral steel pipes to the Heihe-Changling section of the East Siberia Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline between China and Russia, which is a key project in China's One Belt, One Road initiative. This is the first big order received by Pangang for supply of X80 pipeline steel.
