Pangang develops production of 29 kg/m U-beam

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that its rail and beam plant has developed production of 29 kg/m U-beam of 16 mm thickness and 124 mm height. This is the first production of U-beam in southwestern China.
 
U-beam is widely applied in support structures in mines and mountain tunnels. The development of the new U-beam product is expected to help Pangang expand its sales in southwestern China.
