Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports up 16.7 percent in November

Pakistan's iron and steel scrap imports amounted to 374,883 mt in November this year, decreasing by 2.3 percent compared to October and up 16.7 percent year on year, according to the data released by the Pakistan Federal Bureau of Statistics (PFBS). The value of these imports in November was $120.58 million, decreasing by 0.9 percent month on month and up 44.7 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's iron and steel imports in November amounted to 267,375 mt, down 10.9 percent on month-on-month basis and decreasing by 11.4 percent year on year. In the given month, the value of Pakistan's iron and steel imports was $162.41 million, decreasing by 10.9 percent month on month and down 16.2 percent year on year.
