Pakistan ups Iranian HRC imports

Sources report that Pakistan increased hot rolled coil imports from Iran in 2005. Pakistan, which used to import the subject product from European countries, Canada, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and South Africa, increased its hot rolled coils imports from Iran to 70,000 mt since the beginning of 2005. Pakistani importers indicated that the price of Iranian hot rolled coil is lower than that of other countries as well as that of Pakistan Steel Mills.
