OMK’s foundry-rolling complex sees increased output in Jan-Feb

In February of the current year, the foundry-rolling complex of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) produced 95,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC). Also in the given month, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 20,000 mt of steel sheets and 18,000 mt of steel strips. In February this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 97,000 mt of steel products.

In the January-February period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 191,000 mt of hot rolled coils, up 15.5 percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 42,000 mt of steel sheets and 38,000 mt of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 210,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 28 percent year on year.
