OMK’s foundry-rolling complex sees 8% rise in HRC output in Jan-July

Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that in July of the current year its foundry-rolling complex produced 96,000 mt of hot rolled coil (HRC), up 4.5 percent year on year. Also in the given month, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK produced 19,000 mt of steel sheets and 21,000 mt of steel strips. In July this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 89,000 mt of steel products.

In the January-July period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 683,000 mt of hot rolled coils, up eight percent compared to the same period last year, while it also produced 138,000 mt of steel sheets and 133,000 mt of steel strips. In the given period, the complex shipped 680,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip, up 10 percent year on year.
