OMK’s foundry-rolling complex produces 261,000 mt of HR flat steel in Q1

Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has stated that in March of the current year its foundry-rolling complex produced 88,000 mt of hot rolled flat steel, mostly consisting of hot rolled coil (HRC) but also including 4,000 mt of steel sheet and 26,000 mt of steel strip. In March this year, the foundry-rolling complex of OMK shipped a total of 89,000 mt of steel products.
 
In the January-March period of the current year, the OMK complex produced 261,000 mt of hot rolled flat steel, mostly including HRC but also including 23,000 mt of steel sheet and 71,000 mt of steel strip. In the given quarter, the complex shipped 257,000 mt of hot rolled coil, sheet and strip.
