OMK’s ATZ sees 5.3 percent rise in Jan-May pipe output

In May this year, Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), produced 15,861 mt of steel pipes. In the January-May period of the current year, the mill's steel pipe output rose by 5.3 percent compared to the same period of 2012, reaching 85,746 mt.

In May this year, ATZ shipped 18,978 mt of steel pipes. In January-May, ATZ's shipments of steel pipes increased by 8.3 percent year on year to 88,939 mt.
