OMK’s ATZ launches new steel pipe mill

Tatarstan-based Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ), a subsidiary of Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has announced the commissioning of its new mill 10-65 produced by Italian company MTM. The total investment in the mill project is RUR 150 million ($4.5 million). The mill will produce round pipes with diameters of 15-50 mm and hollow sections of 15 x 15-50 x 50 mm with wall thickness of 1.5-4.0 mm. The mill's output capacity is 50,000 mt per year.
