NWR increases coking coal prices for Q4

Central Europe-based miner New World Resources Plc (NWR) has announced that it has reached agreements with its customers for coking coal and coke sales for the fourth quarter of 2013.
 
Accordingly, NWR has set the average agreed price of coking coal for delivery in the fourth quarter of this year at €101/mt, up 11 percent compared to the third quarter realized price. In addition, NWR's average price agreed for coke sales during the fourth quarter is €231/mt, remaining stable compared to the third quarter realized price.

NWR also announced its production and sales results for the third quarter of 2013. While it produced 2.2 million mt of coking and thermal coal and 163,000 mt of coke in the third quarter, its sales volumes of coking coal and coke in the quarter were 1.2 million mt and 142,000 mt respectively.
