Number of motor vehicles in China increases to 327 million

31.72 million new motor vehicles were registered in China in 2018, with the total number of motor vehicles in China thereby increasing to 327 million units, according to figures issued by China’s Ministry of Public Security (MPS). In particular, in 2018 the volume of small passenger cars in China surpassed 200 million units for the first time.
