Nucor to halt shipping at South Carolina mill during Hurricane Florence

In a letter to customers sent Wednesday, Nucor South Carolina said that due to Hurricane Florence, its sales office will close through Friday, Sept. 14. Additionally, the company will stop shipping loads as of this morning, Sept. 14.

Nucor said its current plan is to resume normal business hours on Monday, Sept. 17, depending on the conditions of roads and rail next week after the hurricane passes.
