Nucor announced Friday that Keith Grass, CEO of scrap processing subsidiary The David J. Joseph Company and executive vice president of Nucor’s raw materials division, will retire on August 14.

Grass will be replaced as VP by Joe Stratman, who currently serves as executive vice president of business development for the company.

“His guidance and expertise as both the CEO of DJJ and as EVP of Nucor have been instrumental to our combined success,” said Nucor CEO John Ferriola. “Our company and our stockholders have greatly benefited from Keith’s innumerable contributions to our raw materials strategy and our continued focus on reducing our cost structure.”

Craig Feldman, President of David J. Joseph, will maintain his position, which he has held since January 2013.
