Non-financial FDI by Chinese firms totals $34.64 billion in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period of the current year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $34.64 billion, up 3.3 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

Meanwhile, in April, Chinese companies made new investments worth a total of $4.61 billion in the countries of the One Belt, One Road area, accounting for 13.3 percent of the overall FDI made by Chinese companies in the given month.
