Non-financial FDI by Chinese companies up 14.1 percent in January-July

In the January-July period of the current year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $65.27 billion, up 14.1 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).

In the given year, contracts for foreign projects signed by Chinese companies were worth a total value of $125.24 billion, down 7.4 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-July period this year, Chinese companies made new investments worth a total of $8.55 billion in the 54 countries of the One Belt, One Road area, up 11.8 percent year on year.
