NLMK’s long steel division ships 1.7 million mt of steel in 2012

According to a company statement, last year the long steel division of Russian steelmaker Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) shipped around 1.7 million mt of steel products, up three percent compared to 2011, including 1.3 million mt of rebar, up 10 percent, 107,000 mt of wire rod, down 20 percent, and around 285,000 mt of hardware, up 19 percent, all year on year.

In February this year, NLMK plans to ship around 100,000 mt of rebar, down 13 percent compared to January.
