NKMZ to reconstruct mill at Dunaferr

Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant (NKMZ), one of the largest machine-building plants in Ukraine, intends to complete supplies of all necessary equipment in 2007 for the reconstruction of the three-high Lauth mill at Hungary-based steel mill Dunaferr. So far, NKMZ has completed the first phase of equipment supply. The full reconstruction of the three-high Lauth mill will allow Dunaferr to increase its plate production from the current 120,000 metric tons a year to 200,000 metric tons a year.
