Novokramatorsky Machine-building Plant (NKMZ), one of the largest machine-building plants in Ukraine, has concluded the first phase of the reconstruction of the three-high Lauth mill at Hungary-based steelmaker Dunaferr. The mill was originally supplied to the plant in the 1930s.

The preparatory work for the second reconstruction phase is currently underway.

After the reconstruction the mill will be able to double its plate production capacity, increasing it to 200,000 metric tons.
