Ning Jizhe: China to achieve target of 6.5 percent GDP growth for 2018

Ning Jizhe, director general of China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), has stated that China is expected to attain the target of 6.5 percent GDP growth for 2018. He indicated that in 2017 the size of China’s economy surpassed RMB 82 trillion ($12 trillion), while it is likely to reach RMB 90 trillion ($13 trillion) for 2018, which he said will be a huge achievement.
