New orders in German construction down 3.2 percent in August from July

In August this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 3.2 percent month on month and rose by one percent compared to August 2016, as announced by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Meanwhile, in the January-August period of this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry grew by 2.6 percent on year-on-year basis.
