New motor vehicle registrations in Turkey up 0.8% in November

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November last year new motor vehicle registrations in Turkey rose by 0.8 percent year on year to 67,126 units and were down by 1.4 percent on month-on-month basis.

New passenger car registrations in November totaled 43,992 units, increasing by 1.4 percent as compared to October and down by 1.5 percent year on year. Passenger cars accounted for 65.5 percent of total new motor vehicle registrations in the given month.

On the other hand, new small truck registrations in November rose by 8.1 percent month on month and were down 17.6 percent year on year, amounting to 8,068 units. Small truck registrations constituted 12 percent of total new registrations in November.
