New initial AD tariffs on Taiwanese coated steel for four producers

The US Department of Commerce (US DOC) reached a preliminary determination of anti-dumping duties ranging from 1 to 5 percent for four Taiwanese producers of imported flat-steel corrosion resistant coated products.

According to a notice published in the Federal Register on August 10, the weighted-average dumping margin for Chung Hung Steel Corporation is 2.52 percent, Prosperity Tieh Enterprise Co. Ltd is 3.04 percent, Yieh Phui Enterprise Co. Ltd. and Synn Industrial Co., Ltd is 1.31 percent and Sheng Yu Steel Co. Ltd is 4.89 percent.

The period of review is June 2, 2016-June 30, 2017. The initial review request in regards Taiwanese manufacturers undercutting the domestic market was filed in 2016.
