China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that it has approved the construction project for a high-speed railway from Chongqing to Qianjiang, which is located to the southeast of Chongqing. The railway will have a length of 265.0 kilometers and include eight stations, while the estimated investment will be RMB 53.5 billion ($7.69 billion).
