NBS: Slower growth rate in new house prices in Chinese cities in Dec

In December last year, of 70 major Chinese cities surveyed, house prices in first-tier cities saw slower year-on-year growth. In China’s first-tier cities, the year-on-year growth rate of new house prices in the given month was 0.1 percentage point lower compared to that recorded in November last year, while in second-tier cities the year-on-year growth rate of new house prices in the given month was 0.4 percentage points higher compared to the November growth rate, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In China’s first-tier and second-tier cities, the year-on-year growth rates of second-hand house prices in December were respectively 0.4 percentage points lower and stable compared to the year-on-year growth rates recorded in November.
