Nanjing reduces steel output by 20 percent during winter season

The Chinese city of Nanjing is reducing its steel output by 20 percent during the current winter season (November 2017-February 2018) to ensure good environmental conditions, as announced by the Environmental Protection Department of Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Since 2014, Nanjing has implemented steel output reductions during winter, reducing steel output by 15 percent.
