MOC: Average finished steel price in China rises slightly

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (July 1-7) the overall average finished steel price in China rose slightly week on week.   

In the given week, the average prices of high-speed wire rod, rebar, welded steel pipe and steel channel edged up by 0.6 percent, 0.5 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, week on week.   

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China moved down. In particular, the prices of coking coal and anthracite coal edged down by 0.3 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, while the average price of thermal coal remained stable, week on week. 

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased slightly week on week.
