MOC: Average finished steel price in China rises slightly

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (May 20-26) the overall average finished steel price in China rose slightly week on week.   

In the given week, average prices of rebar, high-speed wire rod and steel channel edged up by 0.5 percent, 0.5 percent and 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.  

In the week in question, the average price of coal in China increased slightly. In particular, the price of anthracite coal moved up by 1.9 percent, while the prices of coking coal and thermal coal remained stable, week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China declined slightly week on week.
