China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (December 30 2019-January 5 2020) the overall average finished steel price in China fluctuated within a limited range on week-on-week basis.
In the given week, the average prices of rebar remained stable, prices of high-speed wire rod edged up by 0.1 percent, while steel channel prices moved down by 0.1 percent, respectively, week on week.
Major Chinese steelmaker Shagang Group has kept its ex-work prices of long steel stable for the January 1-10 period.
